Morris County

Morris County is home to the Council Grove Federal Reservoir which has thousands of visitors each year. 


It is a favorite area for many hunting and fishing enthusiasts who enjoy the great fishing, water skiing, boating, and camping at the reservoir and other local lakes.  In addition to the Federal Reservoir Morris County has a city owned lake just outside of Council Grove and a privately owned lake in the southeast corner of the County known as Lake Kahola.

Many hunters find an abundance of game in the county.
